Kids Take Charge During NeighborWorks Week in Hawaii

Kids gather for a phot op after volunteering

During NeighborWorks Week in Honolulu, Hawaii, kids embraced the value of giving back to their communities. Thirty kids kicked off the week of service by painting over graffiti that had defaced four buildings in their community. They picked up trash that had littered their neighborhood and planted gardens to bring new life to the area. "Giving back to the community is a fundamental value of Palolo Valley Homes," said Lomalinda Yuhashi with resident services. "We are moved by the pride and passion of these kids to volunteer."
