GENERAL PURPOSE This position encompasses a range of production and project support responsibilities in the development and maintenance of NeighborWorks® America Web sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Publishes Web site content using Web publishing software. • Designs new Web pages and sections incorporating photos, illustrations, and logos. • Prepares documents for posting using Adobe Acrobat and other software. • Reviews sites for dated material and works with content providers to add or delete content. • Optimizes Web pages for search engine accessibility. • Extracts and repurposes articles from PDF print publication format to online format. • Participates on planning teams in the development and maintenance of NeighborWorks® America web sites. • Provides support in the development of web-related products as needed. • Reviews requests and proposals for new Web sites • Manages subscription lists for corporate e-newsletters.
SECONDARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensures Web sites, sections and pages meet corporate Web standards. • Maintains the Corporation’s online publication catalog, ensuring that the catalog is kept up to date. • Monitors publication inventory levels at fulfillment facility to ensure that appropriate quantities of corporate publications and videos are maintained.

Skills Required |

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with Web design experience. • Three to four years’ work experience in Web production experience. • Competency with all MS Office software, various type digital image files, photo editors, and Adobe Acrobat. • HTML programming required. • Experience with Web authoring software such as Dreamweaver, and/or content management systems. • Knowledge of affordable housing/community revitalization issues a plus. • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to efficiently organize work and multi-task. • Knowledge of Web site usability concepts and techniques • Maintain regular and timely attendance.
PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS • Fast-paced work environment, extensive computer usage.
