Preparing for Success and Succession:
Maximizing Opportunity at a Time of Leadership Change
August 15 • Washington, DC

Join us for Preparing for Success and Succession:
Maximizing Opportunity at a Time of Leadership Change
- a one-day symposium, which is part of the NeighborWorks Training Institute (NTI) in Washington, DC.

This important and thought-provoking symposium about leadership transitions, succession planning, and creating a strategically ready "NextGen" organization will lead you successfully through the challenges of the future. Are you ready?

www.nw.org/trainingIt's not about pushing current leaders out the door - quite the opposite. It is about preparing your organization for whatever may come - in two months or two decades. It is about working together to ready ourselves, our organizations and our field for the changes that will affect our work. It is about developing leadership throughout an organization and in the communities we serve to address the changing needs.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The day's agenda includes information about coming trends, storytelling, peer learning, a fun and thought-provoking luncheon, tips on finding and being a mentor, developing a "deep bench" of leadership in your organization, action plan resources on change management and leadership transitions, a critical analysis of conventional wisdom, topic experts, resources about further learning opportunities, and more.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
If you are an emerging leader, new supervisor, manager, associate or co- director, executive director, senior-level manager or officer, board member, funder, intermediary, or industry partner - please attend to learn what you can start doing now and to share your experiences with peers. You will leave the symposium feeling energized, inspired and committed to preparing yourself, your organization, and the field for the future!
