National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education and Counseling

Building on effective practices nationwide, a collaborative effort of housing industry partners developed the National Industry Standards.  These standards are helping practitioners and organizations serve families and communities with consistent service and professional excellence.

The National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education and Counseling focus on Competency, Skills, Training, Operational Knowledge, Code of Ethics and Conduct and Performance Standards. 

Organizations commit to incorporate the National Industry Standards into their business practices to help promote an accepted level of performance for homeownership education and counseling nationwide.
