| Patrick Simmons is director of housing demography at the Fannie Mae Foundation. Currently, he is co-managing development of DataPlace™, a new nationwide community indicators system for the KnowledgePlex® Web portal. He also manages the Foundation’s housing demographics research program, which publishes the annual Housing in the Nation’s Capital report and the Foundation’s Census Notes series. Prior to joining the Fannie Mae Foundation, Simmons held several positions in the Office of Housing Research at the Fannie Mae corporation, including manager of housing policy research. In this capacity, he managed research in the areas of housing and mortgage market discrimination, homelessness, immigration and housing, and urban housing policy. Simmons also previously edited four editions of the book, Housing Statistics of the United States. |
