Instructor Name: Suzanne Merusi
 

Suzanne Merusi is a consultant with over 25 years experience in community development. She is committed to making a difference in communities and has a proven track record in collaboratively working with for-profit and non-profit partners. Her focus has been to provide technical assistance and training to realtors, lenders and nonprofit housing organizations to promote community development and to create asset and capacity building programs. She recently completed the “Staff Employment, Enhancement and Development Program” for a local non-profit to educate and increase the capacity and financial capability of their staff.

Her background includes commercial and residential real estate management, leasing and sales, loan origination, marketing, program management, training, curriculum development, housing counseling and non-profit development.

Merusi has 15 years of expertise in foreclosure intervention training and over 20 years in homeownership training. She has been a member of the NeighborWorks Training Institute faculty since 2005 and teaches several foreclosure and homeownership courses.

She serves on the Protect My Kentucky Home Task Force and previously served as the chair of the Northern Kentucky Don’t Borrow Trouble Campaign in Covington, KY. She holds a BS in business management and administration from Indiana University and has a real estate license in Ohio.
