Tanya Smith-Evans is a senior consultant with Community Wealth Ventures, a consulting firm that focuses on leveraging the power of market-based approaches to drive social change. CWV helps nonprofit organizations become more self-sustaining by generating revenue through business ventures and corporate partnerships. Prior to joining CWV, Smith-Evans worked as a consultant at A.T. Kearney for 10 years, most recently as a manager in the Alexandria, VA office. She was responsible for developing project strategies and leading client and consulting teams to strategic and operational improvements. Clients ranged from Fortune 50 retailers to museums and other nonprofits. Smith-Evans graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor's of Commerce degree and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
