Christopher Hudak is a homeownership, foreclosure intervention and management consultant with over 16 years of not-for-profit experience in housing, strategic planning, organizational outcome improvement, conflict meditation, and community organizing and development. In his capacity as a Homeownership Counseling Faculty for NeighborWorks America, Hudak trains foreclosure intervention counselors and management, emphasizing ways to improve the quality and efficiency of counseling and program administration procedures. He also provides technical assistance for NeighborWorks Organizations and conducts best practice, needs assessment and service improvement research for program service areas such as foreclosure intervention, State Housing and Finance Authorities, financial education and coaching and owner-occupied housing rehabilitation. Mr. Hudak was formerly the program manager for Boulder County Housing Authority, a HUD-approved counseling agency based in Boulder, Colorado, where he restructured the program, quadrupled its funding and increased its staffing capacity. In 2008, a volunteer foreclosure intervention program he created was recognized with a National Association of Counties (NACo) Achievement Award. From 2005 until 2010, he was a board member of the Executive Committee of Colorado Foreclosure Prevention Task Force, which developed and managed the statewide Colorado Foreclosure Hotline. |
