Since 1992, Fred Alsup, founder of Fred Alsup and Associates, has worked with firms from Fortune 100 companies to pre-IPO startups in the U.S. and Far East both for-profit and not-for-profit, providing planning, project management and process expertise. He assists clients in a whole range of management consulting including defining viable products and services, creating focused business plans and strategies, developing executable project plans, developing Balanced Scorecard measurement systems and leading project teams. He is an executive coach including coaching executives in the Achieving Excellence program at Harvard. He is the developer of the Rapid Requirements process.Prior to establishing his consulting business, he was employed at Texas Instruments (TI) for ten years and was the total quality manager for one of the divisions of TI.

In addition to serving as a master facilitator, he has created a series of training courses that have enhanced the skills of hundreds of employees in the areas of communication, problem solving and creativity, facilitation and process management. He is one of the architects of the NeighborWorks’ Learning Center Consortium.

Alsup received his BA in Classics and his BA in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), an advanced human communication technology. Alsup has spoken at conferences in the U.S. and Europe and is the author of Practical Statistical Process Control: A Tool for Quality Manufacturing.
