| Janaka Casper, President and CEO of Community Housing Partners Corporation (CHP), has over 30 years experience in housing and community development. During his tenure, the corporation’s programs and activities have expanded to include Real Estate Development, Architecture, Construction Management, Energy Services, Enterprise Development, Homeownership Opportunities, Housing Management and Resident Services. Mr. Casper is a prior Fannie Mae Foundation James A. Johnson Community Fellow and was a participant in the inaugural program of the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation and Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government for Achieving Excellence in Community Development. Under his leadership, CHP is a 5 time recipient of the Virginia Governor’s Housing Achievement Award including the first Annual Award and more recently for Best Housing Organization and Best Housing Development for the Tekoa Youth Residential Campus—currently undergoing LEED certification. |
