| Barbara possesses nearly 25 years of experience helping communities with sustainable program development and leadership strategies. Her background includes working for city and tribal government, nonprofit agencies, Universities and includes working with young leaders. As a program developer and former Housing Director with the Umatilla Indian Reservation, the Umatilla Saves program received the 2003 Tribal Top Program of the Year, 2006 Harvard Honoring Nations Award, and the 2007 National Association of Realtors Award. She currently works as a multi-faceted project advisor working in areas of financial education, asset-building strategies, community & economic development, planning, research, curriculum and program coaching endeavors. Barbara continues to help communities in this comprehensive field as a Trainer and Facilitator, Mentor and Developer. Barbara holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Hawaii and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business: Managerial Leadership from Northwest Christian College in collaboration with the University of Oregon. |
