Tracie Roberts is an attorney and urban planner who for the past 13 years has operated a professional services firm with the primary focus of community development. Roberts has more than 20 years experience as a community development attorney as well as a Masters in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania. Her engagements have been as a consultant to nonprofit organizations, offering technical assistance on urban development issues as well as legal and organizational advice. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Roberts held positions as manager of technical assistance for a Philadelphia community development lender; redevelopment attorney for the City of Oakland, California and land use attorney for the District of Columbia. She is currently legal counsel and planning consultant on housing development projects and providing assistance to a faith-based nonprofit which serves youth and ex-offenders.
