Alyson Parham is founder and president of Partec Consulting Group, Inc. A management consulting and training firm established in 1994, Partec delivers high quality, strategy and business development solutions to help clients exceed their competitive and operational challenges. Prior to starting Partec, Parham worked for several key employers in management and consulting capacities including Kellogg Community College, Michigan State University and a Chicago-based consulting firm. Parham provides strategy and resource development consulting services to a diverse client base including faith-based organizations, nonprofit organizations, foundations and government agencies. Services specifically targeting faith and community-based nonprofits include strategic planning, organizational assessments, proposal writing and group facilitation. Her nonprofit clients range from in-service offerings including: housing, social services, childcare, economic development and youth services. Over the past 21 years, Parham has helped secure millions in funding for her nonprofit clients. Annually, hundreds of nonprofit executives participate in training sessions conducted by Parham on various resource development topics including proposal writing and resource development strategies for emerging organizations. In 2005, Parham authored a publication for the Department of Justice’s Community Capacity Development Office on sustainability planning and previously co-authored a manual for site coordinators. Other Partec clients include the Community Economic Development Association of Cook County, the New Westside Federation, NeighborWorks America, Kalamazoo Community Foundation, and Lutheran Family Mission. Parham holds a bachelors and masters degree in Economics. She is a member of the American Association of Grantwriting Professionals, and the Alliance for Nonprofit Management.
