Karimah Nonyameko is co-founder of ChangeWork Consulting Inc., a group of trainers, educators, and organizers working to strengthen the organizational structures and strategies of non-profit organizations and institutions. Karimah provides technical assistance in strategic planning, community organizing, fundraising strategies, board governance, youth development, staff coaching and value-based community building, management and leadership. Karimah worked as a community organizer for over twelve years before pursuing training and consulting. She organized in every region of the U.S., building relationships among people and working around a variety of issues including, neighborhood improvement, housing, community economic development, community safety, police accountability and youth issues. Karimah has worked in the non-profit sector over seventeen years in various capacities; as a volunteer community leader, board member, program director, regional staffer, lead staff and consultant.
