Jennifer Gonzalez is the deputy director for Alamo Area Mutual Housing Association (AAMHA), a San Antonio based nonprofit affordable housing provider. Gonzalez was hired as an on-site resident coordinator after graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BA in Sociology. Later, as resident services director, Gonzalez developed programs to support the AAMHA mission of promoting resident leadership, self-sufficiency, education, and volunteerism in a community environment. In addition to developing enrichment programming she trained resident service staff and property management on various work related topics. In 2000, Gonzalez designed and facilitated the AAMHA Community Leadership Training that focuses on asset management, property finances, organization structure, and conflict resolution. In June 2006 AAMHA will graduate its sixth class of resident leaders. Gonzalez completed the Bank of America Development Training Institute Leadership Academy in April of 2001 and the 2004 Executive Education program at Harvard Business School. In October of 2005, she graduated with an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
