Christi Baker founded Chrysalis Consulting in 1999, which facilitates community change by providing training, curriculum development, technical assistance and specialized research services to nonprofit organizations focusing on homeownership and asset building. Clients include local community-based organizations and national nonprofit intermediaries. Christi has authored various publications, practitioner curricula and consumer training manuals related to single-family homeownership and asset building. Prior to consulting, she served as deputy director for San Diego Neighborhood Housing Services (now Community HousingWorks) and assisted coordinating NeighborWorks America’s Campaign for Home Ownership. Christi has 16 years of experience in the homeownership and asset-building fields through her consulting practice and employment. She serves on the national advisory council for the NeighborWorks Center for Homeownership Education and Counseling (NCHEC) and has been a faculty member of NeighborWorks training since 1996. Christi holds a Bachelor degree from Cornell University in anthropology and archaeology. |
