George Montgomery is a management consultant for single-family for NeighborWorks America. NeighborWorks America’s mandate is to revitalize neighborhoods nationally through the support of local partners. Previously, Montgomery was senior program manager for financial assistance for the City of Boston, Department of Neighborhood Development, Home-Buyer Assistance Division. Montgomery has extensive experience in home ownership programs, and mortgage lending and collections. In addition, Montgomery has significant experience with nonprofit organizations and served as president of the board of a small community-based organization that provides services to pregnant and parenting young women. Montgomery is founder of “Build a Boat” a personal financial management program for homeless young parents.
