Eric Hangen, AICP, is the president of I Squared Community Development Consulting Inc., which provides business and strategic planning, neighborhood revitalization planning, and housing finance and real estate development consulting services to clients nationwide. He has worked in the community development field for more than 10 years. As a management consultant with NeighborWorks America, Hangen helped nonprofit corporations across the country develop neighborhood revitalization, strategic, and business plans. Hangen worked as the senior planning advisor for the city of Caguas, Puerto Rico, a planner for the Puerto Rico Public Housing Administration, and as a project manager in neighborhood economic development for the New York City Department of Business Services. He has a master’s in public policy from Harvard University and a bachelor’s in environmental studies from Brown University.
