As Director of Small Business Development at LEDC Emily Coronado works to build quality training and technical assistance to help startup and existing entrepreneurs gain the skills, knowledge and support they need to be successful. During her tenure at LEDC Emily has played an active role streamlining and expanding small business services including the launching of Tender Growth Training and Contribution Program. Prior to joining LEDC, Emily served as Project Officer for Proliteracy Worldwide where she served as the point person to the Dominican Republic on a country-wide adult literacy initiative. She also founded Project ABC, a non-governmental organization focused on grassroots education based in Haitian-Dominican communities of the Dominican Republic. Emily is a graduate of the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs where she earned her Master’s in Public Administration and an alumni of the University of Minnesota where she earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in History with a Certificate in Adult Education.
