Instructor Name: Jerel Colemon
 
Jerel is in her 2nd year as a member of NeighborWorks America’s national training team and is also pursuing a Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems. She received her bachelor degrees from the University of Cincinnati in Information Systems and Marketing and began a 14 year career at IBM Corporation immediately following college. During her years at IBM, Jerel was a systems engineer providing software installation and system support services; conducted education and training sessions for IBM internal teams and business partners; and managed client executive relationships for IBM Global Services I/T strategy and support services. Jerel continued her leadership role in technology training and education as a trainer/facilitator for 1st time homebuyer’s workshops; a financial intelligence co-instructor to non-profits and church youth organizations; and a substitute instructor for math and computer technology classes to junior high and high school students in the local school district, as well as to K-6 students including Asperger/Autism and Intervention classes. Jerel maintains licenses with the State of Ohio Department of Insurance and the State of Ohio Department of Education. She has experience in loan originations, REO property development, benefits coordination and retirement planning. Jerel’s most recent professional development training has been in I/T Organizational Behavior, NWA Train the Trainer, and Estate Planning Concepts.
