Brad is a thirty-one (31) year veteran of USDA - Rural Development (formerly Farmers Home Administration). He is currently an Area Specialist in the Yuma, Arizona Sub-Area Office. He has been stationed in Yuma for the past twenty-two (22) years. When he took over the Yuma Office, there was one Self Help Grantee and the office made approximately thirty (30) loans per year. In the last six (6) years, the Yuma Office has helped an average of over one hundred fifteen (115) families each year achieve the dream of home ownership. Brad currently works with three Self Help Grantees. One of these Grantees is working with self help rehab on the families’ homes. “I have had the privilege to work with over one thousand (1,000) families in my time in Yuma. Self Help housing is the most self fulfilling program that I have worked with during my time with Rural Development.” He has also served on the Board of Directors for several non-profit corporations, including the Humane Society of Yuma and Saddles of Joy. He is presently serving on the Board of Saddles of Joy and the Yuma County Pest Abatement District. He is married and has two teenage children.
