| Mark Lennon is a founder and principal of the Institution Recycling Network (IRN). The IRN is the most experienced recycler of C&D waste in the Northeast, with experience on over 50 projects, including demolition, renovation, and new construction, and ranging from a few thousand to nearly 500,000 sqft, and less than $3 million to over $50 million in project value. The IRN provides markets for over two dozen different job site wastes (including source-separated and mixed materials), assists in preparing specifications and waste management plans, provides training, manages waste hauling and marketing, and provides documentation and preparation of LEED submissions.
Before founding the IRN, Mark was head of recycling programs for the State of New Hampshire, and he has been a consultant to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and other public- and private clients in solid and hazardous waste and energy issues. He has a degree in Biology from Dartmouth College and a Master’s Degree in Ecosystems Research from the University of Wisconsin.
