| Bill Strang has spent 25 years in manufacturing and management positions. Beginning his career in Chicago, he has been transferred throughout the US as his career grew. He has managed businesses with a wide range of products and components; he also has worked on mergers and acquisitions in the venture capital industry. His experience ranges from automotive engine manufacturing, to stern tube shaft seals for fast attack submarines, to pharmaceutical applications, to petrochemical facilities, to agricultural equipment manufacturers. The breadth of his experience has provided him with a deep understanding of a wide spectrum of businesses and operations. During his career, Bill has worked for two multi-national organizations and two M&A businesses, received training in 6 sigma and lean, and developed proprietary manufacturing processes that became integral to the success of businesses in highly competitive industries. He spent 15 years at John Crane Company, manufacturer of end-face shaft seals, four years at Hydraulic Technologies, three years at Hyco, and the past three years at TOTO USA, Inc.
At TOTO, Bill began his work as the Director of Operations, focused on the Lakewood manufacturing operation. There, he provided leadership and instituted innovations that improved output and productivity through the implementation of 5S training and mentoring. In 2004, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations with responsibility for all four of TOTO plants: Morrow, GA; Lakewood, GA; Fairburn, GA; and Ontario, CA.
