Instructor Name: Pamela Meyer
 
Dr. Pamela Meyer leads CDC’s Healthy Homes Goal Team. Dr. Meyer has worked in public health for almost 20 years. Before joining CCEHIP, she led the Science Development Team in the Environmental Health Tracking Branch of NCEH’s Division of Environmental Hazards and Health Effects. She has also served as team leader for the Epidemiology and Surveillance Team in the Lead Poisoning Prevention Branch and as staff epidemiologist in the Air Pollution and Respiratory Health Branch. Prior to moving to Atlanta, she worked for nearly 9 years with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control in programs to prevent HIV/AIDS, lead poisoning, and chronic diseases. Dr. Meyer has extensive experience and expertise in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs to improve public health practice at both the state and federal levels. Dr. Meyer has a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, and master’s (MSPH) and doctoral (PhD) degrees in epidemiology from the University of South Carolina.
