Shane was formerly first vice president of multi-cultural markets for SunTrust Bank and was responsible for the growth of all consumer bank products and cross sell opportunities to bank clients with special emphasis on diversity. Prior to SunTrust Bank, Shane served in the same capacity for Washington Mutual and Wells Fargo Banks respectively and has been in the banking industry and management for over 20 years.

Shane has extensive experience and proven results in the areas of business development, process improvement, relationship management, financial literacy, operations, secondary mortgage market, staff development, bank operations and training.

Shane obtained his BBA and MBA from Georgia Southern University in 1989 and 1990 respectively.

Shane is a retired Armed Forces Veteran serving 21 years in the US Army Reserves and National Guard before retiring at the rank of Major. Shane is a member of the 100 Black Men of America Inc., NAACP, Urban League, Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and a board member of the local Boys and Girls Club in Riviera Beach Florida. He is now the managing partner of the Empowerment Consortium.
