| Bill Talcott is associate director of research and programs with KnowledgePlex, Inc. Along with his knowledge of Web GIS technology to assist community development efforts, he brings expertise in sustainable development, social research methods, and the history of civic participation in the U.S. Both researcher and practitioner, he has worked with nonprofit organizations in the areas of assisted-living, learning disabilities and affordable housing. He has also taught undergraduate courses such as social research methods and urbanization and environmental change. He holds a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of California, San Diego, and a B.A. from Swarthmore College. |
