Instructor Name: Emily Breazeale
 
Ms. Breazeale brings a variety of experience in underwriting and unwinding Low Income Tax Credit projects. Her experience allows her to understand the perspectives of the investor, the developer and the syndicator. Ms. Breazeale’s community development experience includes working with tax credit developers, housing counselors and regional tax credit funds. At CCA, Ms. Breazeale performs real estate underwriting for tax credit and pension funds, structures financing for multi-family projects, assists with development of LIHTC projects and is responsible for Year 15 exit strategies and dispositions. Prior to joining CCA, Ms. Breazeale served as an associate in the Acquisitions and Underwriting Department at Community Affordable Housing Equity Corporation (CAHEC). At CAHEC, Ms. Breazeale worked on all aspects of underwriting historic and low income housing tax credit properties. In addition to her real estate underwriting experience Ms. Breazeale has also worked with Community Development Corporations in North Carolina on program development. Ms. Breazeale graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University, and received a Masters in Regional Planning with a concentration in Real Estate Development from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
