NR145 How to Find and Use Data for Your Revitalization WorkDataPlaceā¢, a new, free online data system, assembles in one place a variety of housing and demographic data at geographic scales ranging from the neighborhood to the nation. Data sets currently include the 1990 and 2000 Censuses, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, Section 8 Expiring Use Database, County and Zip Business Patterns, Fair Market Rent data, HUD income estimates and limits and much more. In addition to the data, DataPlace provides several easy-to-use data analysis tools (maps, tables, charts, rankings and statistical profiles) that can be used to study and compare community characteristics.
