NA142 Building Native Communities Financial Education Curriculum: Training the Trainer
Learn how to become an instructor for the Building Native Communities — Financial Skills for Families financial education curriculum developed by First Nations Development Institute and Fannie Mae Foundation. This course provides instructor training techniques as well as an overview of the six curriculum sessions including: Building a Healthy Native Economy, Developing a Spending Plan, Working with Checking and Savings Accounts, Understanding Credit and Your Credit Report and Accessing Credit I and II. Students also learn how to blend this curriculum with other financial education courses. Participants interested in obtaining a certificate of Professional Recognition in Financial Education must pass an exam upon completion of the course.
