HO278 HECM Property Charge Loss Mitigation Counseling
As an experienced HECM counselor, you know that the borrower is responsible for paying his own property charges, such as property taxes, hazard insurance and condominium fees, but what happens when he can't pay? In this course, you'll gain a better understanding of related HUD policies, the "vocabulary" of HECM servicing and guidelines for counseling HECM borrowers whose loans may become due because of unpaid property charges. NOTE: This course is intended for HUD HECM Counselors and for counselors participating in the HECM Property Charge Loss Mitigation Counseling pilot.
