CP268 Running a Job: Leadership Tools for Those Who Use Tools
Are you one of the forgotten but integral members of your nonprofit — the people who work with tools? Do you have to organize work crews — whether they're volunteers, union workers or your own staff? Do you want to move up in your organization? Then this class is especially designed for you. We will work through critical path thinking, project planning, set-up, safety briefings, materials management, setting and maintaining productivity levels, cleanup, equipment management and quality control. Whether it's housing production, maintenance or just a volunteer clean-up day — it can be run professionally and smoothly by using the principles contained in this class. By the end of the day, you'll not only be a crack crew leader — the lessons from this class will make you a valued crew member forever. And the leadership skills you take away will help you organize your personal projects as well.
