CP205 Rehab Inspection Basics, Work Scopes and Cost EstimatingThis is a one-day training session on housing rehabilitation inspection basics, specification writing and cost estimating for local housing rehabilitation specialists who are part of the Community Development Administration Special Loan Programs network. Subject matter will include how to conduct an inspection including necessary tools, inspection forms, inspection methodology and how to interact with homeowners. Further, the training will cover the types and methods of specification writing including the proper use of language and the 7 “C’s” of spec writing. Next the training will cover the elements of cost estimating and cost estimating methods.
