CL158 Advocating for Change in Your Community
In order to really effect change, community residents must participate in the process and learn skills to get their message across to others. Learn core skills that will help you advocate more effectively for yourself and influence the decision-making processes that affect you and your neighbors. Find out how to determine what knowledge is needed to influence those decisions, formulate and prioritize the questions asked, and connect with the right decision-maker. In this workshop you will also be asked to think critically about ways to attack issues from different angles.
