CL140 Planning and Implementing a Block-Based Project
Block by block improvement activities are often times a cornerstone strategy in the revitalization of a neighborhood – in bringing back a community. Frequently, such projects come about at the initiative of residents who informally talk about a need on their street and make a decision to do something about it. This workshop will help you to turn these conversations into a concrete project. Learn how to prioritize possibilities, conduct feasibility analysis, and develop a budget. We will also explore how to work with existing agencies to enlist their support, recruit participants, and secure funding.
