One of the strategies your organization has chosen is community building and organizing. However, sometimes organizations take on community building and organizing projects or issues that they do not have the capacity to undertake, or have their resources stretched and diminished in the process. How can you help assess your organizational capacity before taking on new community engagement projects, what methods can your organization employ to assess strengths and weaknesses in its organizational structure? In this course you will examine ways to assess the capacity of your community-based organization to take on community engagement activities, and develop easy to use tools to apply to this process.
