CB204 Increasing Resident Involvement in Your Organization
Often directors of community development organizations want to make the most of the contributions of all board members and community partners, but struggle to figure out an effective plan to do so. How do you balance the need to produce with the mission to have meaningful participation for community members? In this class you will look at some successful methods that have worked to maximize resident participants in organizations, and you will brainstorm and develop strategies to include residents in substantive projects in your organization. This class is for Executive Directors, community organizers, board members and other community residents interested in working with community based organizations to help them involve a wider network of stakeholders.
