Leading our communities through these tough, difficult times requires innovative, resilient community leadership. Many communities, organizations and leaders find themselves challenged to meet today's social, economic, and political, realities. As we face questions about survivability and sustainability, how do we attract and retain community leaders? What are the skills that effective community leadership demands? Where are the best tools and techniques for today's community leaders? To address these and similar questions a new community engagement paradigm is evolving that calls for leaders to be bolder, continuously connect to their community and be social entrepreneurs.
