C0101 Basics of Community OrganizingThis course is for individuals whose work requires them to do community organizing or outreach work, are either new to the field, lack substantial practical experience, or who have not received training in the foundation principles of community organizing. Participants in this course will explore techniques for developing a basic organizing strategy and campaign, study ways to identify and recruit new members, learn to conduct a house meeting, and practice making presentations to community groups.
