Speaker Profile: Fred Wacker

Fred has been in the affordable housing and community development field for over 30 years.  Fred joined The Home Depot Foundation in 2004 and was recently promoted to Director & Chief Operating Officer.  The Home Depot Foundation was created in December of 2002 and Fred was initially hired to build out the Foundation’s grant making initiatives.

Prior to joining The Home Depot Foundation, he served as Regional Director of the Fannie Mae Foundation, Community Investment Officer and Deputy Director of Community Investment Services for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, and National Director of Program Development for the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation.
