PROMPT™, evaluates organizational capacity and performance, featuring an on-site component.

Benefits:

  • Evaluate organizational capacity and performance
  • Identify strengths and challenges;
  • Analyze risk and provide compliance systems, given set standards;
  • Assist sponsors in determining where to target resources.

Process:

Following off-site data gathering, independent, expert evaluators go on-site to meet with staff, board members, and other stakeholders, partners, and residents. The reviewers collect and analyze documents that demonstrate program and organizational capacity according to the following subjects whose acronym spells PROMPT™:

Planning multi-year strategic and annual operational planning

Resource Management: financial sustainability, resource development, and management

Organizational Management and Oversight: corporate/board/committee partnershipand governance

Management: Financial management/accounting systems and procedures; Contract management and compliance systems; Personnel management and administrative management systems

Production/Program Services: lines of business: production/impact/quality/performance

Technical Operating Systems: procedures, practices, tracking, data collection, and document systems

Our final product is a written assessment report with recommendations to build and sustain practices that support success and provide a framework for accountability. The full process typically takes 90 to 120 days from the initial provision of materials until presentation of the written report. The cost of an evaluation depends on the size and complexity of the organization and its programs.
