Funding Opportunities

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 delivered several new opportunities for funding in the housing industry. Here you will find current ARRA and other federal funding opportunities that you may be able to tap for your housing projects and programs.

Green Retrofit Program for Multifamily Housing:
HUD will provide approximately $250 million in grants and loans to enable some 25,000 apartment units to become more energy-efficient. HUD will offer up to $15,000 per residential unit to reduce energy costs, cut water consumption, and improve indoor air quality. Eligible units must already be HUD-assisted, either through Section 8 project-based rental assistance or the Section 202 (elderly) and Section 811 (disabled) programs. Applications for funds are being accepted at www.hud.gov/recovery.

We are tracking no opportunities at this time. Please check back for updates.
