NeighborWorks Organizational Assessment Services
- How do community development organizations know they're on the right track to achieve their goals?
- How do funders determine which community-based partners are effective organizations?
- How do you make funding or investment decisions that minimize risk and enhance outcomes?
Now, for the first time, NeighborWorks America offers its exclusive organizational assessment strategy — proven effective through 25 years of use on NeighborWorks network organizations — to the broader marketplace of community development organizations, funders, and investors.
NeighborWorks America's organizational assessments enable organizations and their investors to determine where to target financial resources and technical assistance to help fulfill their missions effectively and efficiently.
NeighborWorks can tailor its well-tested assessment tools and experiences to an organization’s specific needs, providing recommendations for practices that support success and provide a framework for accountability.
NeighborWorks America contracts directly with nonprofits or with their supporters from the public or private sectors to provide assessments. NeighborWorks partners with sponsors who share its commitment to build stronger communities and help create and preserve affordable housing. Assessment sponsors may include federal, state, or local housing or community development agencies, foundations, banks, corporations, intermediaries, or associations.
