NeighborWorks Speakers Bureau
Margaret Frisbee
District Director, Pacific District
As Pacific District Director for NeighborWorks® America, Margaret Frisbee oversees some 30 community development organizations doing business in the five Pacific states—Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington.
With extensive experience and background in working with NeighborWorks and communities, Margaret Frisbee became director of the Pacific District in 1999 and held the same position in the nine-state Rocky Mountain region prior to that. In addition, she has held a variety of management positions within NeighborWorks, including director of the Program Services and supervisor of development for the Eastern United States.
Before joining NeighborWorks America, she was director of economic research for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston and a field supervisor with the Boston Redevelopment Authority. She has a master’s degree in urban planning. Her specialty areas include organizational development, strategic planning, resource development, neighborhood revitalization and management.
