NeighborWorks Speakers Bureau
Timothy W. Adams
Director, Analysis and Impact Unit
Timothy W. Adams manages the delivery of professional services and resources, including grants, technical assistance and NeighborWorks® Training Institute scholarships, to NeighborWorks organizations throughout the Mid-Atlantic district. He joined NeighborWorks America in 1999 as a staff management systems consultant, providing technical support to NeighborWorks organizations in the areas of information, financial management systems and technologies.
Adams came to NeighborWorks America from Neighborhood Housing Services of Richmond, Virginia, where he was resource development officer. He also served in several capacities with United Way Services in Richmond; as assistant director of campaigns for the United Way of Rock River Valley in Rockford, Illinois; as development associate for Rockford Memorial Hospital, also in Rockford; and as assistant director of the DeKalb County Homeless Shelter.
Adams holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy with an emphasis in physics and mathematics from Iowa State University and a master’s degree in philosophy from Northern Illinois University.
