NeighborWorks America Joins Forces with IssueLab
Research Seekers Get Even More Ways to Access Great Resources

Chicago –  This month NeighborWorks America and IssueLab entered into a new data partnership, the result of which is a new IssueLab SubDomain that houses approximately 90 NeighborWorks America research works and makes it very easy for anyone to learn about all that the NeighborWorks America research collection has to offer. The seamless integration of IssueLab's SubDomain into NeighborWorks America's web site translates into a smooth transition from NeighborWorks America's web site proper to their newly implemented plug-and-play SubDomain.

"We are really excited about this partnership," said Lisa Brooks, co-founder and co-director of IssueLab. "Not only will our SubDomain service help NeighborWorks America quickly organize and easily share their own research publications and other resources, their research will also become a part of the larger IssueLab archive, expanding NeigborWorks America's dissemination efforts as well as the content that our audience has come to rely on us to provide."

IssueLab's SubDomain service is essentially a repurposing of the IssueLab publishing platform for use on partner web sites and is a logical extension of IssueLab's mission. The SubDomain service is a fully hosted and supported archiving and dissemination solution that deepens the impact of an organization's investment in its new and existing research.

"Joining forces with IssueLab gives NeighborWorks an opportunity to make our research and data more widely available to the nonprofit community and key stakeholders across the nation," said Ken Wade, CEO of NeighborWorks America. "We are eager to see our research integrated into another platform that informs such a large and diverse user audience."

NeighborWorks America is a national nonprofit organization created by Congress to
provide financial support, technical assistance, and training for community-based
revitalization efforts. The organization creates opportunities for people to live in affordable
homes, improve their lives, and strengthen their communities. The NeighborWorks
America SubDomain houses applied research, reports, and studies that focus on the
issues of affordable homes, economic development, community building, and more. Keyword search and topic browsing tools -- both included with any SubDomain implementation -- make it easy to hone in on a specific work as well as learn about other works by NeighborWorks America.
