December 20, 2006 – Voice of Calvary Ministries, a NeighborWorks member organization located in Jackson, Mississippi, this month opened a new subdivision in McComb's Victory Park neighborhood with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The 16-unit subdivision was developed for residents displaced by Hurricane Katrina.

Voice of Calvary Ministries, NeighborWorks America, California Umbrella of Churches, Ecumenical Association for Disaster Relief in Pike County, Trustmark and BankPlus have worked to develop quality, affordable housing in the McComb area.

The subdivision continues to accept applications to purchase the remaining homes.
