June 6 , 2006 — Wyoming Housing Network received an official charter from NeighborWorks America, June 1, at the newly acquired Spring Hill Apartments in Casper, Wyoming.

Wyoming Senator Craig Thomas, Ken Wade, CEO of NeighborWorks America and Gary Wolfe, Rocky Mountain district director for NeighborWorks America, were present to convey the Charter to the Wyoming Housing Network as well as a check for $175,000.
Those in attendance included 25 board members and staff from the Wyoming Business Council, Casper Area Economic Development Alliance, Casper City Council and staff members, Wyoming Community Development Authority, Wyoming Association of Realtors, Wyoming State Legislators, WHN Board members, and many others.
Wyoming Senator Mike Enzi, Representative Barbara Cubin, and Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal all sent letters of congratulation. Freudenthal personally called prior to the meeting to extend his support. In recognition of the occasion, the Wyoming Community Development Authority presented the newly chartered organization with a limited edition print of "Home on the Range."
