Paul Poston is NeighborWorks® America’s district director for its Great Lakes district — an area that covers Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee. Poston is responsible for the delivery of services and corporate resources to NeighborWorks organizations and others in those five states. This role includes supervising district staff, identifying gaps in service delivery capacity and developing plans to meet unmet needs, working with other field managers and staff in other divisions to meet corporate goals, and providing marketing and public relations and administrative management. He has extensive expertise in real-estate development and management and served as a consultant conducting program assessments, economic impact studies and market research.

Prior to joining NeighborWorks America, Poston was with The Enterprise Foundation, most recently serving as director of the foundation’s office in East Palo Alto, California. Poston also served as a senior program director with responsibility for Enterprise’s activities in several cities, including Washington, DC. As a member of Enterprise’s Management and Organizational Development unit, Poston specialized in organizational development and planning for nonprofit organizations. Before joining Enterprise, he directed energy-efficient building renovation projects and implementation of statewide management information systems for a public agency. His background and experience include real-estate development and management, as well as 10 years of consulting experience in the private sector conducting program assessments, economic impact studies and market research.
