NeighborWorks Plants!

A Special Event During NeighborWorks Week 2009

NeighborWorks Plants! was he held on Saturday, June 6 to kick off National NeighborWorks Week which runs from June 6-13,2009!

The goal of this event is to use plants to beautify communities around the nation. This event is also groundbreaking because the network will be contributing to the green effort nationwide.

  • Landscape several home fronts to increase curb appeal and lift community spirit!
  • Plant container gardens—perfect if you don’t have large green spaces
  • Plant vegetable and herb gardens
  • Create a water garden—make a pond and fill it with water lilies, irises and the like!
