June 2-9, 2012 is National NeighborWorks Week
During NeighborWorks Week, NeighborWorks America and its network of local organizations mobilize tens of thousands of volunteers, businesspeople, neighbors, friends, and local and national elected and civic leaders in a week of neighborhood change and awareness.
They rehab and repair homes, paint and landscape properties, conduct neighborhood tours, recognize successful partnerships, and host events that educate, train and inform.
You can make a difference by volunteering at one of our events! Find an event here (event lookup)

NeighborWorks Week...is a great opportunity for us to help fellow community members and know that members across the country are all focused on the same thing during that week.
NeighborWorks Week not only accomplishes great work on the sponsored project, but it also inspires others to take on other community needs.
National events such as NeighborWorks® Week show the public and the low-income residents of underserved communities that many people out there care about them.
